Legend Holdings Gets an Appetite for Food Industry

(New York) -- Legend Holdings, which owns China's largest computer maker Lenovo, is gearing up for a listing between 2014 and 2016, and aims to expand its operations in food production, Legend Chairman Liu Chuanzhi told Caixin in a recent interview.

Earlier this month, Liu resigned as chairman of Lenovo, devoting all his energy to the growth of Legend. Liu said after Legend goes public, its key operations will fall into already successful business and its foray into the food business.
