Lenovo Sees 54% Upswing in Profits

(Beijing) – Lenovo, the world's second-largest PC vendor, announced 2011 third quarter net profits hit US$ 150 million.
According to the earnings report, sales volume from personal computer sales was US$ 7.3 billion, increasing 34 percent from a year earlier. The company's net profit was up 54 percent compared to the same period last year.
The personal computer sales division accounted for a record 35 percent of market share in China, equal to the total market share of the next four competitors, said Lenovo.
