No End in Sight for Airline Tax Dispute

It's been more than six months since the European Union's controversial Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) was extended to cover the airline industry, but with opposition from governments and airline groups strengthening around the world, a resolution to the dispute looks further away than ever.

Boeing China's president, Marc Allen, said he doesn't support the EU's stance. "The real question here is going to be simply whether Europe is ready to turn away from the ETS and instead focus on an international multilateral solution," Allen said.
