Jiangxi LDK Solar Seeks Help from Energy SOE

(Beijing) – Debt-ridden Jiangxi LDK Solar, led by the local government, has approached China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group (CECEP) as a potential buyer.

CECEP, a state-owned enterprise (SOE) that focuses on energy conservation, emissions reduction and environment protection, talked to LDK Solar, but no agreement was reached, a source close to LDK Solar said.
