Focus Media Envisions Private Equity Future

(Beijing) – An advertising company whose electronic display screens in elevators greet apartment dwellers, office workers and shoppers every day is preparing to overhaul its ownership structure after losing interest in the U.S. equities market.

Focus Media Holding Ltd., the Nasdaq-listed firm controlling a Chinese digital advertising business group, has proposed cooperating with private equity investors for a stock buyback before exiting the American exchange.
