Central Bank Reveals Its RQFII Policies

(Beijing) – The central bank announced pilot policies for new regulations regarding the RMB Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (RQFII) program on May 2.

The policies require RQFII investors to set up dedicated and separate accounts with custodian banks for transactions in domestic stock exchanges and the interbank market, and for trading of stock index futures.
