Vice-Mayor of Hubei City Is Target of Corruption Inquiry

(Beijing) – The vice mayor of the second largest city of the central province of Hubei is being investigated for "serious violations of discipline," the Communist Party's anti-corruption watchdog said on its website on January 6.

The phrase "serious violations of discipline" is often used by the Central Discipline Inspection Commission to mean corruption.
