Zhou Family Was Influential in Jiangsu City before Corruption Inquiry

(Wuxi) – On February 12, the funeral for Zhou Yuanxing was held at his home in the Xiqiantou Village, in Wuxi, in the eastern province of Jiangsu. More than a hundred people attended the funeral, but not his brothers.

Zhou Yuanxing, who died aged 69 of cancer, was the second of three brothers. Media reports on March 3 say his younger brother, Zhou Yuanqing, and brother's wife, Zhou Lingying, were taken away in early December by investigators from Beijing.
