Shiller: What We Can Learn from Past Crises

(Beijing) – Yale professor Robert J. Shiller has built his career on going against the grain. His 1981 article about stock prices in The American Economic Review challenged the efficient-market hypothesis that was widespread among economists of the time, and was followed by a number of publications that warned of the economic decline that eventually hit in 2008.
