HK Should Adjust Policies as Disputes with Mainlanders Continue

(Hong Kong) – A recent street dispute between a mainland couple and a Hongkonger reflects difficulties in the relationship between an increasing number of visiting mainlanders and the city's residents, one expert says, and the government of the former British colony should consider taking action.

The latest dispute started when the parents of a two-year-old let him urinate in the street in the busy Mong Kok area. A Hongkonger used his phone to take a picture, angering the parents. A spat ensued.
