Official in Shanxi City 'Falls to His Death after Facing Investigators'

(Beijing) -- A city official in Shanxi fell to his death on September 14 after answering questions for anti-corruption officials, several sources familiar with the situation say, as graft scandals continue to rock the northern province.

Dong Xuegang, the director and party head of the Yuncheng city Economic and Information Technology Commission, fell from a residential building about 7 a.m. on September 14, the sources said. The commission is in charge of industrial planning and overseeing city-owned enterprises.
