CCTV Airs Program on Conditions for Fallen Officials in Guangdong Prison

(Beijing) – The state broadcaster recently aired a news program documenting the lives of convicted officials behind bars, portraying them as laboring in workshops and living in simple cells with bunk beds.

In the 40-minute program, a CCTV crew visited Yangjiang prison in Guangdong Province where more than 200 ex-officials are serving jail terms alongside thousands of ordinary criminals.
