Party Detains Two Senior Officials for Corruption

(Beijing) – The Communist Party's graft fighters have netted yet another two senior officials, one an acclaimed economic researcher and another who retired eight years ago.
He Jiacheng, executive vice president of the Chinese Academy of Governance (CAG), and Zhao Shaolin, former secretary general of the Jiangsu provincial party committee, are being investigated on suspicion of graft, the party's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said on its website October 11.
