China Said to Agree to Build Two Train Lines in Thailand

(Beijing) – The governments of China and Thailand agreed on March 14 to build two train lines in the Southeast Asian country, a source with knowledge of the matter says.
The National Development and Reform Commission signed the agreement with Thailand's Transport Ministry to build the lines, which will run a total of 734 kilometers, the person said. The lines will link Bangkok with the northeastern province of Nong Khai and the eastern province of Rayong.
