Ping An Launches Subsidiary to Handle New Form of Net Investing

(Beijing) – Ping An Insurance (Group) Co. has launched a subsidiary to handle a new form of Internet investing, becoming the latest company racing to embrace equity crowdfunding after the government said it should be encouraged.

The insurer said on April 9 that it had registered the subsidiary with an office of the country's industry and commerce regulator.
