Executives at Grid Firms Received Improper Benefits, CCDI Says

(Beijing) – Executives at the country's two grid companies have been found using their positions to seek improper benefits from projects, equipment purchases and electricity sales, the Communist Party's graft buster said on its website on June 16.
State Grid Corp. and China Southern Power Grid Co. were inspected from February 26 to May 6 by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), the party's graft watchdog. The CCDI usually carries out two major inspections each year of state-backed companies, local governments and government-funded institutions such as universities.
