Chinese Grain Firm Announces Bid for Australian Beef Producer

(Beijing) – A Chinese grain and edible oil company has entered the bidding for one of Australia's largest beef producers and landholders, according to a statement released by the Chinese company on September 29.
Guangzhou-based Donlinks Grain & Oil Co. Ltd. said it will form a consortium with Genius Link Capital Ltd., an asset management company registered in the British Virgin Islands, to make a second-round offer for S. Kidman & Co. Ltd. on October 27.
