NDRC Approves Eight Big Projects Worth over 95 Bln Yuan

(Beijing) – The country's top economic planner said on October 15 that it has approved eight infrastructure projects costing a total of more than 95 billion yuan, a move one expert linked to efforts to prop up a slowing economy.

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said work on the three roads, two railroads, two road bridges and dredging part of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal could move forward.
