China, Germany Ideal Partners in Climate Change Fight

These days are pivotal for the global fight against climate change. The leaders and representatives of the 196 parties to the UN Convention on Climate Change are meeting in Paris to adopt a new climate deal. It is the best opportunity we have to put in place the policies and structures urgently needed to trigger decarbonization of the global economy over the course of this century, meaning zero carbon emissions from fossil energies in order to meet our target of holding the increase of worldwide temperatures below 2 degrees Celsius.
