Two of China’s most important political events, the annual legislative meeting of the National People’s Congress and the session of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, started earlier this month and are wrapping up this week.
In addition to heavy media coverage of meetings in which the government officials, legislators and elite business representatives set the agenda for the country’s major political, economic and social policies, we would also like to give our readers a chance to peek in and out the conference rooms, getting a different perspective of people involved in these national events.
