A teenager who was sold by his biological parents at birth, and spurned by them again during a recent reunion, has committed suicide. He was also reportedly subject to cyberbullying after his public search for his parents went viral.

Liu Xuezhou, aged 17, posted a long suicide note on Weibo on Monday, detailing his misfortunes since childhood. Sanya police later that day confirmed his death.
