The Chinese embassy in Kyiv is in the process of arranging charter flights to evacuate citizens from Ukraine, due to “high security risks” amid Russia’s military operation.

Citizens who wish to leave the country could register their information for the flights by Sunday, the embassy said in a Friday statement (link in Chinese), noting that Chinese nationals and enterprises face high security risks given the rapidly deteriorating situation, after Russian military forces launched attacks in Ukraine.
