Graft Probes Ensnare College Buddies Who Were Top Bankers

Jiang Yunming, former chairman of the supervisory board of Industrial Bank Co. Ltd., was placed under investigation, China’s top anti-graft watchdog said Friday.
Jiang, 56, is being probed for “suspected severe violations of law and Communist Party discipline,” the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and the National Supervisory Commission said without elaboration. The phase often refers to corruption.
