Another Top Cop in Liaoning Falls Under Graft Probe

China’s graft busters brought down yet another senior law enforcement official in northeast China’s Liaoning in the latest blow to the rustbelt province’s scandal-plagued police system.
Meng Bing, 48, a former deputy chief of the provincial government’s top law enforcement body, was placed under investigation for “suspicion of serious violations of discipline and law,” the provincial graft buster said Thursday without elaboration.
