China’s Silk Road Fund Strikes Deal with Indonesian Sovereign Fund

What’s new: China’s state-backed Silk Road Fund (SRF) has signed a framework agreement with the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), a sovereign wealth fund, to facilitate investment in the Southeast Asian nation, the two funds announced on Monday.
The SRF plans to invest up to 20 billion yuan ($3 billion), preferably settled in the yuan, SRF President Wang Yanzhi said in a statement.
