China’s Li Pledges to Continue Favorable EV Policies

(Bloomberg) — China will continue to pursue policies aimed at spurring the production and purchase of electric cars, Premier Li Keqiang said Wednesday during a visit to the Shenzhen headquarters of BYD Co., one of the nation’s biggest automakers.

Li vowed to maintain preferential policies designed to boost sales and stimulate demand of cleaner cars, BYD said in a statement released after the premier’s visit that didn’t offer details on what the policies might entail.
