EV supply chain squeezed by Sichuan power cuts

China has extended an industrial power suspension in the southwestern province of Sichuan that was originally slated to last till Saturday, shutting off electricity to manufacturers who are crucial to electric-vehicle (EV) batteries and photovoltaic product supply chains.
