China Eases Covid-19 Declaration Requirements for International Travel

What’s new: China’s General Administration of Customs has removed Covid-19 declaration requirements in its updated health declaration form that sought nucleic acid test results, previous Covid-19 infections and vaccination dates for people entering or leaving the country.
The ninth version of the form will be put into use on Aug. 31, according to a statement (link in Chinese) published by the customs authority. The changes aim to make it easier for travelers to pass through customs, the head of the authority’s port supervision department told reporters Friday, while stressing it was not a departure from “zero-Covid” stance.
