Sinochem General Manager Li Fanrong Succeeds Ning Gaoning as Chairman

General Manager Li Fanrong was named chairman of China’s state-owned chemical giant Sinochem Holdings Corp. Ltd., succeeding the retiring Ning Gaoning, the company said Friday.

Li, 59, a veteran executive in the state-owned oil and gas industry, was formerly the general manager of state-owned China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) before he was appointed to the same role at Sinochem Holdings.
