A Dozen Top Chinese Finance Leaders Named to New Central Committee

What’s new: Of the 205 new Communist Party Central Committee members elected by the party’s 20th National Congress, around a dozen have backgrounds in China’s economic or financial systems, according to information compiled by Caixin based on a list of the members published by the official Xinhua News Agency.
China Securities Regulatory Commission Chairman Yi Huiman and a deputy party chief of Beijing municipality, Yin Yong, who had worked for the central bank and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, were among the newly elected committee members with experience in the financial regulatory system.
