Hu Shuli: Strengthening Connections in a Time of Uncertainties and Anxieties

This is the third year we hosted a Singapore track of the Caixin Summit, livestreaming and interacting with the main venue in Beijing. At the beginning we thought — it’s pretty cool. But it’s more than meets the eye.

It’s a connection between China and world, yes not just China and Singapore but China and the world via this little red dot. It’s a connection that has never been so important in a time full of uncertainties and anxieties, when it’s so easy to turn inward-looking yet so vitally important to remain open. It’s a connection that we all, every one of us here, not just benefit from, but also have an obligation to strengthen.
