China’s online advertising will rebound in 2023 as the economy recovers from "zero-Covid" and regulatory curbs ease.

China’s online advertising and gaming revenue will rebound this year as a long-running tech crackdown winds down and the economy recovers with the end of the “zero-Covid” policy, UBS analysts said.

Chinese companies’ total online ad revenue will rise 15% this year, higher than last year’s increase of 4%, said Liu Yaokun, a China internet and media analyst at investment bank UBS Securities Co. Ltd.
