What’s new: Beijing’s ex-health chief Yu Luming pleaded guilty Thursday to taking 10.5-million-yuan ($1.5 million) worth of bribes in exchange for his help with issues including securing hospital project contracts, according to the court hearing his case.
The former head of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission stood trial Thursday in a court in Zhangjiakou, North China’s Hebei province, on charges of bribery, the court said in a statement.
