Ex-Governor Named Party's Head of Human Resources

What’s new: The Communist Party of China (CPC) has named Li Ganjie, a member of the party’s powerful politburo and a former governor, as head of the party’s human resources branch.

The appointment was revealed in a Wednesday article published by the state-run Xinhua News Agency, which addressed Li as the director of the Central Committee’s Organization Department during a meeting with his Vietnamese counterpart Truong Thi Mai in Beijing.
