China Makes Luring Minors Into Naked Online Video Chats a Crime

China’s top judicial authorities have made it a crime of indecency to lure or force minors to chat naked online as part of efforts to toughen penalties for rape and molestation and better protect minors.

On Thursday, the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate jointly issued a judicial interpretation stating that people who coerce or entice minors to expose their private body parts or commit obscene acts against them through online video chats or by sending videos or photos will be punished for indecency.
