China-SE Asia Have ‘Great Potential’ in Green, Digital Development, Experts Say

Experts highlighted the great potential between China and Southeast Asian countries in green and digital development, during a panel discussion at Caixin’s Asia New Vision Forum on Tuesday, emphasizing that a better understanding of each other would advance cooperation.

“Southeast Asia must learn to converse and to put forth its requests and demands better,” said Chan Heng Chee, Singapore’s ambassador-at-large, while emphasizing the need for Chinese businesses to work with local institutions and promotion authorities to gain a better understanding of the local context.
