One thing to watch amid China’s ongoing economic recovery this year is the transformation of how its industry is structured.

We can examine this from the perspective of “dual circulation,” Beijing’s strategy that aims to get domestic and international economic flows feeding off each other.

Domestically, green and digital industries are gradually replacing urbanization powered by the highly leveraged real estate sector as the main driver of the economy. As competition in the new-energy vehicle, and solar and wind power industries has grown increasingly fierce, major beneficiaries along the supply chains have shifted from equipment and material suppliers to downstream consumers and operators, such as grid builders, plant operators, charging stations and energy storage companies.
