Premier Li Qiang to Speak at ‘Summer Davos’ in Tianjin

What’s new: Premier Li Qiang will attend the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as “Summer Davos,” in Tianjin on June 27, where he will deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, according to the Chinese foreign ministry.

Li will also meet with WEF Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab and other foreign dignitaries, as well as global business leaders, at the annual gathering, ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said in a statement Tuesday.
