China’s top corruption watchdog Wednesday unveiled a long list of ongoing graft investigations targeting senior managers at centrally owned state enterprises, indicating an intensifying crackdown on the state sectors.
Nine senior managers and officials of state-owned giants in the country’s energy, agriculture and telecom industries have been investigated on “suspicion of severe violation of law and discipline,” a phrase that often refers to corruption, according to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI)
