(Tianjin) — Premier Li Qiang has called on world leaders to let enterprises themselves identify business risks, saying that government intervention in this regard is not conducive for economic globalization.

“In the West, some people are hyping up the so-called ‘reducing reliance and de-risking.’ In my opinion, these two statements are a false proposition to some extent,” Li said Tuesday morning in the opening plenary of the Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Tianjin, a World Economic Forum event also known as Summer Davos.
