U.S. Climate Envoy Set to Visit China Next Week

What’s new: U.S. climate envoy John Kerry will visit China from July 16 to 19 to discuss cooperating with Chinese officials on tackling climate change, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment announced Wednesday.

Kerry will be the third member of the Biden administration’s cabinet to come to China in recent weeks, following treasury chief Janet Yellen’s visit last week and Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s trip in June.
