China Soccer League Chief Caught in Anti-Graft Dragnet

The chairman of the Chinese Super League Co. Ltd. (CSL), Liu Jun, is being investigated by the country’s top graft busters, authorities said, as China’s crackdown on corruption in soccer deepens.
Liu is suspected of “serious violations of discipline and law” — a common euphemism for corruption — the Hubei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection announced in a one-line statement Wednesday.
