President Xi Jinping said China is willing to work with Cambodia on combating cross-border crimes such as online gambling and telecom fraud through law enforcement and security cooperation, during a meeting with the Southeast Asian nation’s leader Friday.

Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet is in Beijing for a three-day trip to China set to end Saturday — his first official state visit abroad since taking office in late August, which Hun said reflects his government’s determination to “further develop ironclad Sino-Cambodia friendship,” according to a statement from the foreign ministry.
