Xiongan New Area Outlines How Beijing Transplants Can Buy Housing

What’s new: China’s Xiongan New Area, an economic zone in Hebei province recently developed to host businesses, government offices and universities relocated from Beijing, issued new policies Tuesday for transplanted personnel to buy housing in the area.

People reassigned to Xiongan from Beijing can apply to withdraw their housing provident funds to buy homes in Xiongan after they have paid the funds in full for three consecutive months in Xiongan and do not own housing either in Beijing or Xiongan, according to the new policies.
