(Davos, Switzerland) — Creating a more sustainable fashion industry will require changes to the mindset and behavior of both businesses and consumers, industry experts said at the World Economic Forum (WEF).

People today only recycle a fraction of their textile waste, and for the textile industry in the fashion world to remain relevant in the future, it needs to shift to a circular approach, said Suchitra Lohia, a deputy group CEO of sustainable chemical company Indorama Ventures PCL.
