Most German Firms in China Have No Plans to Leave, Survey Shows

Despite China’s economic headwinds and increased competition from local firms, the vast majority of German companies operating there remain largely committed to the market, according to a recent poll, amid targeted government efforts to attract more foreign investment.
The latest Business Confidence Survey conducted by the German Chamber of Commerce in China published Wednesday showed that 91% of the 566 respondent companies operating in the country had no concrete plans to leave within the next two years.
