What’s new: Wang Kebing, director-general of the Department of Finance of the Ministry of Finance, has been appointed vice president of China Development Bank (CDB).

Wang, 56, is filling the vacancy after former vice president Liu Jin was appointed as vice president of Bank of China Ltd.

Since the start of 2024, a number of officials from various ministries have been appointed to different state-owned financial institutions.
