China’s Top Legislature Set to Create Law to Bolster Private Economy

What’s new: China’s top legislature is set to come up with a law specifically designed to prop up the private economy as part of its plans this year, according to an official report submitted to the ongoing annual political gatherings known as the “Two Sessions” on Friday.
Lawmakers this year also seek to create legislation on value-added tax, preschool education, social assistance and more, said the work report of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee, according to the state-run Xinhua News Agency.
