A former chief financial officer of a Hong Kong-listed parenting platform said Beijing police are investigating his claims that he was slandered by his former employer — the second official investigation sparked by the company’s conflict with him.
In a social media post on Monday, Xu Chong named seven people involved in the alleged slander including BabyTree Group’s co-chairman, Wang Huainan, and several executives at Chinese conglomerate Fosun International Ltd., a major BabyTree shareholder.
