The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), the world’s largest commercial bank by assets, is reshuffling its mid-level management team. The adjustments involve its core departments and wealth management unit, Caixin learned from multiple sources.
Zhu Changfa is stepping down from chief trading officer and general manager of ICBC’s Financial Markets Department due to his age, Caixin learned from sources. A graduate from the PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University, Zhu joined the ICBC in 1989 and became chief trading officer last year.
